David grew up in a small town in northwest Iowa, where he learned the value of hard work from his parents, a business owner father and stay-at-home mother of six. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 1993, David began his sales career. Within two years, David successfully moved into management where he developed his problem-solving and personal relationship skills.
David joined Weissenburger Investments and Financial Planning, Inc. in 2003, choosing to work with the firm because he saw the value of independence and the emphasis placed on long-term relationships. Long-term relationships are something David knows quite a bit about, he has a 1970 Olds Cutlass that he has owned since 1986. David also believes that education is key for himself and his clients. “My role is to educate and inform my clients so that they can make appropriate financial decisions, decisions with the goal of a healthy financial future for them and their families.”
David holds the Series 7 and 63 registrations with LPL Financial. He also holds a Series 66 with LPL Financial and Weis Advisory LLC. He is a licensed Life, Accident and Health Insurance producer and also serves as the Long-Term Care Insurance Specialist.
David resides in Ankeny with his wife, Jean Ann and their two young daughters, Emmy and Lexi. Away from the office he also enjoys golfing and working on his Cutlass.
